The Gastronomic Restaurant

Annie Desvignes, you won't forget her name ...
Annie has been the Chef of La Tour du Roy for 40 years and still continue to offer you an inspiring cuisine.
She has a unique and exemplary path ...
Annie is already in the kitchen with her grand mother when she is 5 years old.
When she is 15 years old, Annie prefers to attend cooking trainings instead of going on holidays: first Raymond Oliver, then Le Nôtre.
Four years later, she gets with her Mum Paula Lequy one Michelin star and then 2 Michelin stars in the restaurant L' Auberge Fleurie in Sars Poteries (near Valenciennes in the North of France).
At the time, they were the only 2 women in the world to get 2 Michelin stars.
When she is 30 years old, Annie takes over with her husband La Tour du Roy in Vervins, a hotel and restaurant and gets one Michelin star 6 months later, which she kept for 25 years ...
In 1973, Annie gives birth to Fabrice, her little prince. She passed her passion on him and he decided to become a Chef too.
He currently works in the kitchens of the French Senate and in 2007, he wins the prestigious worldwide culinary competition of Bocuse d'Or.
If you don't know her yet, come and discover:
Annie, her cuisine, her lobster, quail, doe, home-made foie-gras, but mainly her dedication, kindness and energy ...
La Tour du Roy is having a makeover, so come and rediscover its yesteryear cooking and the charm of its rooms ...
